handbound books, edition of ten

statement .  .  .

Using a technique first used in volume 2 of The Three Critiques of Immanuel Kant, this project takes 100 ‘classics’ from Western philosophy and history and reduces them to their punctuation. Each volume is perfect-bound in standardised paper covers, imitating such serial publishing projects as the Everyman’s Library.
